Charity begins at Kothar

From past few days, every bayan that is dished out from Kothari preacher, there is a latent as well as open insistence of not giving away any charity money directly to the needy. If anyone does that, its “haraam” and unacceptable to Allah as hasanaat. All monies for such prupose shall be channeled to “Dai” and Dai will decide who deserves better. To drive through this point, Kothari preachers kept ridiculing idea of “free thinking” and “free-thinker”. But in his zeal of ridicule he kept passing contradicting examples and message.

At one point he said “don’t give man a fish, but teach him how to fish” and then contradicts the moral of the message by saying that, Shafeek mufaddal maula is pampering mumin with ready to eat meals provided at door step. Ridiculing those critics who suggested to give scholarships and other means to earn livelihood.

At one point he quotes Sayedna saheb’s message of bohra mumin shall help other mumins and neighbors to as much extent as possible such a way that, left hand shall not know if given by right hand. Then he goes on to say, bohra commoners are not capable enough to think/decide who is really deserving. So charity shall be channeled to kothar.

Another point he kept passing is, not to think at all.

“Dai na Farman par, sochvooj naa joyye ! kahe ane uthaavi Lo!” after this he smartly adds, “Wajebaat ni rakam fix kare, koi delay wagar ene ada kari do!”

“Apne sochva ni zarurat nathi ! kem sochvu pade ! apni koi hesiyat nathi ke apne sochi sake, maula ne sab khavar che, Gaaib na janaar che banen maula “


Many other sweet sugar coated talks, which were actually foolish and depressing, all I could see around were sarcastic grins and smiles from others and even few bearded abdes !

It was sadly ironical to see such an environment of double standard, hypocrisy and deceit from all around. God knows who is fooling who ?

Bugger the Amil reads these blogs and uses our notes like freethinkers and helping bohras to be shelf sufficient..without acknowledging us....

Just say yah yah and let the Amil feel important and then go behind him and give charity to who you feel.

I dont know how u can attend these meeting? I feel so suffocated I dont go any more there.

We do come across needy bohras who have approached kothar and returned disappointed.
