Asalamoalikum,
This is the right time for me to remind bohra leaders, a letter from Imam Ali, which is also present in auditorium of UNITED NATION charter.
The United Nations has advised Arab countries to take Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (A.S) as an example in establishing a regime based on justice and democracy and encouraging knowledge; thus, the UNDP in its 2002 Arab Human Development Report, distributed around the world, and listed six sayings of Imam Ali (A.S) about ideal governance:
1-He who has appointed himself an Imam (ruler) of the people must begin by teaching himself before teaching others. His teaching of others must be first by setting an example rather than with his words, for he who begins by teaching and educating himself is more worthy of respect than he who teaches and educates others.
2-Your concern with developing the land should be greater than your concern for collecting taxes, for the latter can only be obtained by developing; whereas he who seeks revenue without development destroys the country and the people. 3-Seek the company of the learned and the wise in search of solving the problems of your country and the righteousness of your people.
4- As to government, no good can come by keeping silent or by speaking out of ignorance.
5-The righteous men of virtue are, whose logic is straightforward, whose dress is unostentatious, whose path is modest, whose actions are many and who are undeterred by difficulties.
6-Choose the best among you to administer justice within people; someone who does not easily give up; who is unruffled by enmities; who will not persist in wrong doings; who will not hesitate to pursue right once he knows it; whose heart knows no greed; who will not be satisfied with a minimum of explanation without seeking the maximum of understanding; who will be the most steadfast when doubt is cast; who will be the least impatient in correcting the opponent; who will be the most patient in pursuing the truth; the most stern in meting out judgment; who is unaffected by flattery and not swayed by temptation, and these are but few.

Time to remind Imam Ali letter to bohra leaders

Shukran Brother Huzaifa
Whenever I read the Kalam of Maulana Ali (AS), my spirit is exhilarated because of the power, beauty and wisdom of his words - Bohra leaders have long ago given up on the ideals, values and spirit of Maulana Ali (AS) and it is futile to remind them of anything

The path of Maula Ali is a straight path towards Allah... And nowadays no one follows it.. Obviously becoz of greed and hatred towards one another. Mumin Mumin no bhai che is only words now.. They all are backstabbers. Specially those in Jamaat. I wonder if Allah has not sent Panjetan (a.s) where would we be right now?
Re: Time to remind Imam Ali letter to bohra leaders
Why is that? Weren't you supposed to have a guide from Allah at all times? What happened to all those Imamat related ayahs in the Quran? The path of Maula Ali is a straight path towards Allah... And nowadays no one follows it..
Re: Time to remind Imam Ali letter to bohra leaders
There has been NO path of Maula Ali or Prophet Mohammad; or Abu Bakr, Ummar or Usman ..... the ONLY path is Path of Allah, towards Allah, by Allah and for Allah ........ all these people 'showed' us this path and themselves followed that path. They practiced what they preached.
