If you look at the above ayah, Allah says THIS Quran is an explanation of the book wherein there is no doubt.

17:9

إِنَّ هَـذَا الْقُرْآنَ يِهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَبِيرًا

Here Allah says this Quran is a guide.

Do you know the meaning of "as salaato khairun min annoum"? Do you disagree with that statement? Not one single muslim on earth will say that this statement is unIslamic.
