Re: Coronavirus
Set routines at home if possible. Else it will be difficult. That is what I am trying (failing in some aspects, meeting other goals) to do. For example, sometime between 1 and 3 PM, do a 10 minute meditation. Sometime between 12 and 2 PM, pray, etc
I also hope that this makes at least some people in India reflect on what people in Kashmir have gone thru: multiple months "cooked-up" inside their house - additionally, no internet/communications, arrest of people/children, not knowing where their loved ones are, and military to enforce. I hope this makes people in India think about it.
Stay safe.

Just an idea.
During this time when the world is in turmoil, why don’t we start a movement to get MS to use our billions of dollars via FMB to supply thali to mumineen all over the world free of charge every day for, say six months.
May be that would be toooo much.
How about a US$1000 to each and every mumineen from the wajebat collected over the years.

Inna Lillahe va Inna Ilaihe Rajeoon.
First death in Dawoodi Bohra Community due to Covid-19
Dr Abedin Bahranwala passed away today at 12.30 am due to Corona Virus at Hinduja Hospital.
Whole family Tested +ve, source Grandson arriving from London (son of Dr Ali Asgar) Now whole family in Quarantine. They had held 27th Rajab namaaz at their home. Whole building in quarantine.
Kothar immediately started calling it fake news. But the doc was tested and found to be Covid-19 poitive. Kothar said he died of a heart attack which is true. But that’s how many people with Covid die. If they have underlying conditions and the virus, their body is so weakened that the underlying condition kills them before their lungs fill up.
BTW this was verified for me by someone who knows the doctor’s family.

BTW
Let us give credit to Kothar, they have supplied a month's worth of grocery to Senior Citizens specially in India. Khidmatguzars went to Senior citizens who were known to local jamat and delivered a month's worth of grocery. They even followed hygienic way to deliver by dropping grocery outside and staying 6 feet away till person opened the door and took grocery inside to make sure grocery did not stay outside and also making sure those people are ok. Kudos to them for this great service.

There seems to be some mistake in the article. Read this:objectiveobserver53 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 7:18 pm https://www.hindustantimes.com/mumbai-n ... ja5aL.html
"Mahim police informed the LT Marg police which escorted the body from the hospital to the cemetery. “During the early hours of Friday the deceased’s body was cremated as per rules and in the presence of civic officials,” a police officer said requesting anonymity."
is the article about someone else? or did the doctor ask to be creamted instead of buried?

It appears that infected dead are being cremated. Regardless of faith. That is the case in Italy too. Either that or the newspaper made a mistake....zinger wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 3:50 amThere seems to be some mistake in the article. It is true as some of the families I have been supporting in Surat and Mumbai informed me that did received a month's worth of supplies and many former members from this forum confirmed with the pictures they had. So yes we need to give credit where it is due.
