The factors at play are simple. The Israelis want to steal Palestinian land, the Americans are accomplices in this theft and the muslim leadership is impotent.

But, hey the Israelis have been trying for 50 years with massive Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs - in case you have forgotten) and more recently the Americans for the last 3 years.

The message is simple - Don't fuck with the muslims. Leave them alone!!

US poor set to lose food stamps

The action came as the US Government reported that the number of people who are hungry because they can't afford to buy enough food rose to 38.2 million in 2004, an increase of seven million in five years.

The number represents nearly 12 per cent of US households.

Imagine what it would be like to become a third world country!!

I don't think you read the subject or what I wrote. The article was about media potrayal and coverage of the conflict, not the causes of the conflict itself.

Anti-Israel?

Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion:

"Why should the Arabs make peace? If I was an Arab leader, I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country. Sure, God promised it to us, but what does that matter to them? Our God is not theirs. We come from Israel, it’s true, but two thousand years ago, and what is that to them? There has been anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They only see one thing: we came here and stole their country. Why should they accept that?"

Sorry about that Muslim, I just don't want this to end up as a one post thread.
