Hypocrisy of Muslims

#1

Unread post by Smart » Sun Apr 19, 2009 3:19 pm

This is specifically about Indian Muslims, especially their Mullahs and Maulvis.
Two weeks ago two incidents happened almost at the same time.

1. Beating of a muslim girl by a Mulla in Pakistan, which became a topic of wide discussion because a video was put up on the Utube. It was mentioned that the girl spurned the advances of the Mullah for marriage to him.
2. Justice Katju's remark about equating beard keeping with talibanisation.

None of the Muslims who came out condemn Justice Katju's remark even mentioned the inhuman act of beating up a woman. I suppose beating up women, is a less despicable act than an off the remark. No wonder the world looks down upon muslims as inhuman brutes.

beating of women happen every other day, it cant be changed with demonstrations, it has to be changed with education, people don't know what they are doing, this does not mean they are hypocrites.

also beating of women happen EVERYWHERE.. not only in India/Pakistan as you mentioned, open you eyes and you will see that this happens in so called developed west also, domestic violence is a top issue.

Justice katju's remark was infuriating indeed . beard is a personal matter and i will keep a beard if i want to and i wont if i don't want to.. who the .... is katju to equate it with anything..
moreover it is Muhammah SAW's sunnat to keep a beard, and any Muslim wont tolerate any clown to equate beard with talibanization, or whatever shit it may be .

Most great men in history had flowing beards, Sikhs in India keep beard more then Muslims do.. i wonder why Sikhs didn't demonstrate against this idiot katju's remark.

@Syed
You are the example of an insensitive human being, that goes under the classification of muslim.
You are more worried about some hair on the face of the man than a human being being horse whipped. Some thing is seriously wrong with your priorities. Oh repository of all knowledge, calling Justice Katju of the Supreme Court of India an idiot doesn't make him one.
You are blinded by your faith and humanity has bypassed you. No wonder the world equates muslims with the taliban. Don't expect me to reply to your rantings in the future.

Since when did Mullahs beating up women publicly, start getting classified as domestic violence?

i wish you could read the first two lines of my post again,

i did not equate anything with anything, i just mentioned one point, how did reach the conclusion that i equated them ?

neither did i say that i am more worried about my facial hair then any women being flogged, both are different issues and at different level.

if calling justice katju an idiot for his idiotic remarks wont make him one then choosing you nick as "smart" wont make u one either.. got the point !!

i wish i were as blinded as you .. but thankfully i am not, i keep both the things separately, i mentioned my stand for women and how to solve it instead of ranting like you and also my stand on katju's remarks.

you dont have to reply to my posts, neither do i expect you to reply., why did you assume that i expect anything from you don't flatter yourself my dear.

Demonstrating as a means of bringing about political and social change is well documented, read up on Martin Luther King, Ghandi, or the women's suffrage movement. Afghan women protesting the laws there have been pelted with stones.

That it happens everywhere isn't the point, that it has been made legal along with pedophilia, and rape in "Islamic" states is.

Where as choosing when someone has sexual intercourse with you is not personal choice? What about a womens right to choose to say, "if I want to, and I won't if I don't want to"?

I actually disagree with the judge, as a judge it's not his place to get embroiled in the political process thats for elected legislators. His job is to interpret the law. Under liberal democracy people have the freedom to choose how to live their lives as they please. The is the very same rights that protect women from nutty clerics, are the same rights that give Muslims the rights to practice their faith freely.

No it is not. It is a decision between two people. If the woman has the right to say no, then the husband has the right to demand for it and vice versa. Just one person having a right is getting only half way there. If the woman has the right to say no, then does the husband have the right to satisfy his need elsewhere with whoever is willing?

primary tool to change any society is Education not demonstration, this is why we go to school to educate ourselves, not to learn how to demonstrate.

Demonstration comes as a tool where there is deliberate oppression, you gave examples of ML King, Gandhi (that's the correct way it is spelled .. wish you went to school to educate yourself), what was the attitude of society with them ? they were both assassinated.. and on other part women in Afghanistan who protested have been pelted with stones.. did u see some similarity ? this happens when u try to go against the evils of society..

so better way is to educate yourself, instead of shouting slogans on the streets.

That it happens everywhere isn't the point, that it has been made legal along with pedophilia, and rape in "Islamic" states is.
of course it is a point that it happens everywhere, it happens everywhere because no one see it as a wrong, that happens when you did not educate yourself about human rights, had you educated yourself you would have seen this as a big point that violence against women happens all over the world, and much more frequently in your west.

i pointed earlier also that age of legal sex is lower in many western/civilized countries.. and THAT is pedophilia if practiced in a Muslim country where age of legal sex is higher.

Where as choosing when someone has sexual intercourse with you is not personal choice? What about a womens right to choose to say, "if I want to, and I won't if I don't want to"?
exactly, i agree, and in this case we have restricted our personal choice to have sex with only our adult and legally wedded wife, and not a new concubine every night.

A woman has the right to say no; its her body. If there is an issue, seeing a councilor is a possible solution, rape is not.

If you think the destruction of the Babri mosque in Ayodhya was appalling; have a look at how the Saudis are utterly destroying Meccas ancient architecture in favour of building ugly mega hotels, starbucks, and shopping malls. Met with utter silence by Muslims around the world.

Correct, rape is not. But no one is advocating rape. It is only you who is interpreting it as such. Yes a woman has a right to say no, and the husband has the right to demand for sex.

As far as the Saudis destroying the historical structures in Mecca is concerned, yes I completely agree that Saudis are completely wrong in doing that. And I have read many articles about it. When you say muslims around the world, who are you referring to? I am sure you haven't spoken to more than a few out of the possible 1.2 billion have you? Are you referring to the muslim leadership? They are worthless. They didn't speak out when a million muslims got murdered in Iraq, you think they care about historical structures in Mecca?

Well, for starters how about mass protests of the uneducated burning effigies of the King, burning Saudi flags, chanting "death to..." etc. ? You know, the kind of stuff you guys do toward cartoons you don't like, or against Westerners.

As far as rape and beating of women, you just won't get it as you are schooled into believing that women are personal property. Your cohort Syed is still trying to understand the legal sex age versus adults having sex with minors. This goes to show that statistics are dangerous in the hands of someone not armed with intellect.

You guys are beginning to sound like the Budweiser Frogs.....

As I said, I am all for beating of women like you. Infact, I say, beat the shit out of them.

As far as burning effigies and chanting "death to...", are concerned, hey, it is better than bombing a country to smithereens.

Yeah, I don't like cartoons like you, but all I am willing to spend, is a few minutes on this board slapping you around. Nothing more. Others should employ the same philosophy, it is much more effective.

As far as Syed goes, he is talking about age of marriage. Adults getting married to minors. There is a difference which those evolving from monkeys don't understand. Adults should not be allowed to marry minors. Normally, a pedophile isn't looking to get married.

You are making no sense whatsoever. Have you lost it ? This sounds like another one of your Greatest Hits
it says the women needs to agree. It doesn't say that the woman doesn't need to agree, but the husband can still force himself on her.

No, actually we are not speaking of rape. Those that are evolving from monkeys, consider a husband's right to express his desire to have sex with his wife as rape. Big difference. And don't bother with trying to understand. As you said, it won't make any sense to you. You are still evolving.

anajami;

95% of buildings over a 1-000 years have already gone, the cave where the Prophet meditated is ear marked for the bull dozer. Later architecture from the Abbasids to the Ottomans has all but disappeared. Even IF you forgive that sin, look at the environmental impact of eradicating the mountains for development, re-inventing the startlingly beautiful landscape of Mecca it seems even Gods handy work on Mecca is not safe.

I have yet to hear a single Muslims condemn the latest proposals, instead all I have heard is praise how "cool" its going to be, how gigantic the hotel which will tower over the Masjid al-Harem will be; and that it's clock will be larger than "Big Ben", it's singularly one of the ugliest pieces of architecture I have ever come across, anywhere, an eyesore were it suggested for Paris, London, Rome, it would undoubtedly be turned down for planning permission, particularly being so close to an important historic building like the Harem; but not it seems in historic Mecca.

For all their effort Mecca will be an utterly banal experience; consisting of chain stores, shopping malls, and soulless architecture, in short an ugly city. For the few who value such things, the memory of what could have been and what was destroyed will tinge any visit with heart felt pain.

I condemn it. I absolutely denounce the destruction of these historical sites by the corrupt racist regime of Saudi Arabia. I heard my Arabic teacher condemn it in class and all students (all adults) agreed with the teacher.
