not only is the syedna making kufr filled claims, he is hoodwinking his blind and stupid followers just like other false godmen, with one sole purpose; to make money and increase his influence and power over gullible fools.
please read the following article:
SAI BABA AND MUSLIM GODMEN
You said that God would not incarnate in human form. Do you argue that Bhagvan Sai Baba is not god's incarnation? Baba has thousands of believers among Muslims, who have been attracted by his miraculous powers. What is your response?
God has no incarnation, and it is impossible to have any. It is not only me, but many noted scholars of Hindu scriptures have said it in the light of authentic works. It has already been explained in detail as answer to the previous question.
Sathya Sai Baba is an ordinary human being. He was born on 23 November 1926 in a village called Gopalappalli, in Andhra Pradesh state, India. The village is now known as Puttaparthi. His father was Pedhavengappa Raju and mother Iswaramba. Like all of us Sai Baba too will die one day. If buried his body will decay and become soil; if cremated it will become ash. The god who is timeless, independent, formless and indivisible is free from all these limitations.
Many incidents have already been reported which prove that Sai Baba has no miraculous powers or skills other than that of a clever magician. Some are given below.
1. There was an attempt on Sai Baba's life at his own Ashram (monastery) in Puttaparthi. In the incident two of his bodyguards were killed and two others were injured. Police rushed to the scene and all the four assailants were shot dead in the firing. Still Sai Baba could not understand the mystery behind the conspiracy. Police had to be called to find out the culprits. The police being unable to find evidence the police dogs had to be brought. The meaning is very clear. If Sai Baba had any knowledge by supernatural means, he would not have allowed the culprits to stay at his quarters; he would not have needed the help of police and dogs to find out the culprits and after the incident he would not have needed police force posted outside the Chandra Auditorium where he stayed. If he had any super human powers, why did they post more than five hundred policemen in Puttapparthi and nearby places? The truth is that even Sai Baba's major disciples have no faith in his divinity. That is why some of them tried to assassinate him.
2. In 1993 a wedding Hall of Sathya Sai Baba Trust was opened by the then Prime Minister. Many VIP's such as the then home minister S.B. Chavan, Agriculture Minister Balram Thakar, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy, and Chief Minister of Karnataka Bengarappa participated in the function. On the stage Baba took a golden chain from the air and presented it to the architect of the Hall. The inaugural function was video covered by Doordarshan. This video picture was sufficient to expose the secret of Baba's `miracles'. It clearly shows Baba deftly taking the chain from a close disciple. However this programme which should have exposed Baba's miracles, the belief in which still leads crores of people astray, was not telecasted by Doordarshan. However, this video film was cleverly acquired by Mr. C. Premanand, who was convenor of the Indian Branch of the International council, which enquires into the truth of claims on miraculous powers. So far this film was exhibited in many places, including Calicut in Kerala. Neither Sai Baba, nor his followers could give any convincing explanation yet.
3. If one could produce gold from air, one could also logically produce medicines and other things. However in the hospital at Puttaparthi medicines are brought from within and outside the country. If Sai Baba has any divine power, there should have been no need of opening super-speciality hospitals. As in the case of all other hospitals, in Puttaparthi too treatment consists of administering medicines and surgery, and there is mystery in none of these.
Regarding the divine miracles, the followers of Sai Baba and his likes have no scruples in propagating untrue stories. Below is one example.
The wonderful experience some years ago, of the world famous Seiko watch manufacturer of Japan, while he was on a tour in India was awe-inspiring.
After completing the Seiko series of watches, he made the model of a superior type and kept it in his safe for further tests. During his holidays in India he paid a visit to Puttaparti out of curiosity. On seeing the Japanese gentleman among the devotees, Sai Baba called him and gave him a small parcel materialised from the air. On opening the parcel he was astonished to see in it the new watch that was kept in his safe in Tokyo. When he saw, with the watch, the silk ribbon and the label with the name of the watch and its price marked on it, all his doubts about the divine powers of Sai Baba simply melted away. He fell prostrate at Sai Baba's feet and worshipped him. Since then he is an ardent devotee of the Bhagavan.
On his return to Tokyo, he was shocked to see that the watch he had kept in his safe was not there. What his personal secretary told him was still more startling. The secretary said that a divine-looking person with bushy hair walked into the office one day, opened the safe and walked away with the watch."
The story of materialization of a Seiko watch was originally authored by Dr. S Bhagavantam in 1973 and published in a Malayalam weekly titled Malayalanadu. The editor S. K Nair and his wife were Sai Baba devotees and to neutralise the publicity got by Abraham Kovoor, S.K Nair started a debate in his weekly on the spiritual powers of Satya Sai Baba. He first published Kovoor's article explaining that Satya Sai Baba is a hoax and then published a series of articles by Sai Baba devotees, which included a High court Judge and other well known personalities like Dr. Bhagawantam.
The well known rationalist late A.T. Kovoor decided to ascertain the truth behind this story. On 11 September 1973, he wrote the following letter to Dr. Bhagavatham:
I read your story about a Japanese watch manufacture getting his own watch that was kept in safe in Japan, materialised in India from air by Sathya Sai Baba. My scientific attitude does not permit me to accept this fantastic story as true without verification. My doubt is enhanced by the reported statement of his personal for this letter also, will only confirm my firm belief that you are an agent of Sathya Sai Baba doing propaganda for him with ulterior motive and vested interest.
Yours in search of Truth,
Abraham T. Kovoor
Since there was no reply so far to this letter also, I had to confirm my belief that Dr. Bhagavantham is in collusion with the charlatan Sathya Sai Baba to do false propaganda for him with ulterior motive and vested interest.
As there was no response from Dr. Bhagavantham even after two months, I decided to pursue the matter on my own. The Japanese Embassy in Sri Lanka was kind enough to provide me with the name and address of the proprietor of the Seiko watch manufacturing firm.
In my letter dated 30th October, 1973 to Mr. Shoji Hattori, president of K. Hattori & Co. Ltd., the manufacturers of Seiko watches, I reproduced Dr. Bhagavantham's story about the miracle, and requested him to provide me with answers to the following questions:
(1) Did you or any other partner of yours visit Sathya Sai Baba of India any time?
(2) Did Sai Baba materialise a watch from air and present it to you or to any of your partners?
(3) Did your personal Secretary tell you or any of your partners that a stranger opened the safe and walked away with a watch?
(4) Are you or any of your partners a devotee of Sai Baba?
On November 8, 1973 Shoji Hattori sent the following reply:
Dear Dr. Kovoor,
"Thank you for your letter of October 30th. I can appreciate your interest in conducting scientific research of paranormal claims, but I am in no way able to further your knowledge as regards the man mentioned in your letter, Mr. Sai Baba. Neither I nor any members of my staff have ever made the acquaintance of this individual. I am sure that these reports are completely unfounded I must therefore reply in the negative to all four of your questions concerning this incident."
Mr. A.T. Kovoor sent the photo copies of this reply to Dr. Bhagavantham, and in the letter asked him to inform the name and addresses of the characters mentioned in the article in Malayalanadu were someone other than Shoji Hattori or his business partners. Again there was no reply. Then Mr. Kovoor published an article in Times of India Daily on Sept. 10, 1976, including all the details. A response to this by Dr. Bhagavantham appeared in the same newspaper on November 29, 1976 which said that he had never published the afore mentioned article either in English or in any other language. He also said he didn't know Malayalam.
By this everybody was convinced that the incident of the Seiko manufacturer cited in the Malayalanadu as proof for Sai Baba's divinity was an utter lie and a worked up tale. (For details see Saibaba's Miracles: An overview. Edited by Dale Beyer Stein, pp 89- 98).
No one, except god the creator of the universe, can create anything new. People may unearth the hidden, or they may alter the forms of the already existing substance. No one can create anything from a vacuum. No one has the supernatural knowledge or knowledge of the future. So whoever claims to have super human powers or divinity is hollow men, and whoever believes in them, whether they have Arabic names or not, are superstitious. They attribute God's distinctive characteristics to others, and thereby commit the unpardonable sin of `shirk'
''Then, what about the Muslim godmen, who claim to have divine powers''?
They too are same. No one except God has any supernatural power. No one can cause headache, stomach ache or mental disorder through supernatural means. Had it been possible the former US President Bill Clinton should have done to against Monica Lewinsky or against Saddam Hussain, with the help of godmen, godmothers, and saints. If these people had any divine powers as they claim to have, let them cause an incurable headache or stomach ache to the Prime Minister of Israel, who perpetrate violence on Palestinians. It is impossible. All those who claim super human powers cannot save even themselves. The murder of the Faquir Uppappa in Thiruvillwamalai is ample proof to establish this point. Those who are victims of superstition do not understand the truth.

Re: Important reasons for abdes to follow Syedna
none of the so-called miracles of syedna are supported by proof in terms of full details. just giving names is not enough. dates, times, medical records, other mitigating circumstances, scientifically examined data, the mental and psychological state of the claimant, other corroborating hard evidence, none of these are made available. just providing vague and unsubstantiated stories quoted by third parties and hearsay is not proof.
there are many fanatic believers of the sai baba and hundreds of other godmen all over india and pakistan, africa and other asian countries. they confidently claim miracles attributed to their idols, but will never submit to medical and scientific tests. many of them are bribed to lie or have a hidden stake in making such claims. the effect these bogus stories have on relatively uneducated and unsophisticated people is profound and sometimes mentally overwhelming, almost hallucinatory. they are led to believe in such hogwash almost as if by auto-hypnosis.
for the syedna to confidently make claims of intercession on your behalf with allah, is a sign of his total moral degeneration and either increasingly self-delusional powers or ability to deceive. his contention is totally in violation of the quranic concept of allah's sole right to justice and only your own aamal which will be considered. even the prophet or ali did not make such outrageously shirk-filled claims.
after reading this, my personal opinion is that the syedna and his family are beyond redemption and beyond any hope of reform. the only way now is for the community to rise in violent revolt from within (since the goondas will not give up their powers without a fight to the death) and that seems well nigh impossible seeing how far the community has accepted all this bull.

Alz bhai
You are right! There is no hope of a revolt. This madness/insanity is growing by the day. In the last 1 year or so, I have personally known some level-headed people change overnight. It is very hard to digest this, but its a fact!
The sad part is seeing the young so-called educated guys joining the band-wagon, I mean, education is supposed to give you a shield against such madness, but I guess, religion and hero-worship breaks all reasons.

@AZ
A very apt post and very relevant.
@LM
These guys whom you call educated are really not so. Being literate is different from being educated. Education requires one to cultivate and have the ability to think, to cogitate and to sift the truth from falsehoods.

Re: Important reasons for abdes to follow Syedna
There is a thing called hyperactivity or hyper sensitivity. Some people have this in born gift. They are so sensitive to things around them that like a dog can sniff you out from a long way off, they can simply look at you and sense what is going on in your head, your being. This is nothing supernatural - it is just an extra sensory perception some people are born with.
An example of this is I met a person who was hyperactive. Some of his friends described him as having the gift of being able to read your mind. That sometimes you would be able to smell roses in his room when there were none around. That he could sense your future by just looking at you. I came to know much later that he was in the business of food essences and colors and that he was familiar with the business of scents. He came off as a very inquisitive person - he would talk to you about everything under the sun and get to know you thoroughly. Little wonder that he was able to predict things based on what he had gleaned - very few of his predictions were actually correct is a different matter all together. Just imagine if even one of his predictions came off - it would have a mind blowing effect on the true believer.
Some such extra faculty is at work with His Holiness. After all you cannot have lakhs of followers and amass huge wealth out of thin air. What is described as a communion he his having with the farishtas, may actually be something more down to earth.

He can say it in front of lakh of mumineen, he claim it so confidently and he can swear by allah too.
Whatever he say, Haq che sarasar, samjho to samjho na samjho na samjho.
however, adbe syednas follow him bcoz he is the only person on this earth who truly care for his mumineen/ followers. Ehne fiqr che apna mumineen ni, thats why, he in this age comes to wayez and sit for more than 2 hours. He look into small matters and gives reply of even most humble araz like choosing between choice of name for shops or changing from one mohalla to another and the list goes on. And every thing what he suggest comes out to be the best option for his followers. People loves him bcoz his one dua can change the fortunes. Mohabbat is the core ingredient, like since we love our parents we never ask them why u sent me in so-so school, why u spent in this or that, why u want to buy this for you, why u need this? Its just unconditional love for Maula and thts y his abdes, whom he (Dai) always call his farzand, follow him.

I agree with u that he is taking extra efforts in this age to serve people of this community....but if u look insight story its all to generate more revenue and more strength for his own family.calling farzando doesnt means any thing when in reality we all know how poor momeenins are treated by every tom dick and harry amil or kothari.Bigger wrote:He can say it in front of lakh of mumineen, he claim it so confidently and he can swear by allah too.
Its just unconditional love for Maula and thts y his abdes, whom he (Dai) always call his farzand, follow him.
his words in waezes and in reality differs by mile which is really a bad sign for a rehnuma of islamic community.
Re: Important reasons for abdes to follow Syedna
Its noteworthy, zamaan of this Dai is most prosper & each and every believer is living a decent life bcoz of his dua and obeying his command. Standard of life of every adnaa and aala mumin raised several folds. By giving and spending upon his words, everyone know that he will gradually earn several times.
All of You and your reformers think we are dumb and we have goldmines to just pay pay and pay, we pay to get several times barakaat, which no one can prove b4 you, coz its sumthing related to belief. We pay and due to allah's karam & ehsaan and dai's dua we just receive more more and more.
its not a miracle?
Just you see the queue of people who come yearly to pay vazebaat (Zakaat and khumus), they wait for 4-5 hours and just hope his amount will reach feets of Maula. You know in this world nobody gives a penny to someone unless he got some of his own desire to fulfill.. Its time to regain faith, those who are gaining in this world and will continue hereafter, are true winners.

What is the definition of decent life, You should visit thread "poverty among Bohras" somewhere on this forum which was copied from Abde sites run with the RAZA of Syedna and all those people seeking Mussawat are obeying his command and unfortunately that has contributed to their misery(paying sabil and other wajebaats for Zarih and Najwas even though they could ill afford) Here is the link

In Tirupati and sai baba temple people wait for the whole day to get darshan of the deity.Bigger wrote:Just you see the queue of people who come yearly to pay vazebaat (Zakaat and khumus), they wait for 4-5 hours and just hope his amount will reach feets of Maula. You are correct that in this world nobody gives a penny to someone unless he gets some of his own desires fulfilled...... Vijay Mallya of Kingfisher group donated a diamond studded crown worth Rs.7 crores to Venkateshwara at Tirupati and before that someone else donated a crown worth Rs.44 crores. The gold reserves of this temple is more then 1000 kgs. So as per your logic, bohras should discard the dai and rush to tirupati to get their wishes fulfilled, naturally as per your logic the temple attracts 1000 times more crowd then at saifee mahal so the chances of their wishes coming true are more at tirupati then at saifee mahal.

Has any detailed study been done to assess the economic level of Bohras ? Are there any statistics other than the standard rhetoric that all Bohras are doing well.
This requires a well documented research effort. What is there to prove that there is no poverty amongst Bohras.
Just look around you in your own town/city. There are many people living on the edge. In spite of the booming economy, there are many people who are not exactly rich. The queue of people lining up to give zakaat is minuscule. For every person in the queue, there are thousands who don't queue up. What a meaningless measure we have to gauge the richness of our community !!!.
I fail to understand the logic - if you have money go and give it to the supremo. What purpose does this serve? What is the reasoning behind this ? Go and help some poor person, donate to an old age/destitute home. Give your money for educating a child with little means. This is so much more satisfying. There are thousands of ways to make your money work better. Are these not visible to us ? Are we so shortsighted, so uneducated, so ill infomed that we do not know what to do with our excess money ?
The least we can do is not beguile ourselves that all is well and cover up the truth under a blanket of falsity.

are u trying to say previous dai's dua wasnt working? and bohras were not prosper from there dua's? only person who got more posper in last 100 years is syedna his family and his paltu kotharis....so think deep then come up with funny replies.
if you have this concept that giving more zakaat is to get more money then all ur previous zakaat is washed up infront of Allah subhanu...zakaat is given feesabillillah to get the pleasure of Allah...if u think it is a business of give and take then u shud reconsider your faith on islaam.

The abdes may be prospering wealth wise and the reason behind this prosperity is the overall boom in the economy plus the trading skills of the community and not to forget the fraudulent means adopted by the majority in conducting their respective businesses.
Spiritually????? they are bankrupt!!!!! What else can you expect from a community that takes pride in calling themselves 'slaves' of syedna? These guys have sold their souls to their master, they are soulless!

It was never about greed. Our faith is our life, everything belongs to Maula, If Emaan is there everything is there.

When you talk about faith.. I take it to mean... When you've suspended your critical faculties and hypnotized yourself into believing load of fascist nonsense dished out by your masters about your eternal soul... is that it??Bigger wrote:It was never about greed. Our faith is our life, everything belongs to Maula, If Emaan is there everything is there.
Faith-peddlers (like you) like to put themselves beyond question by claiming that their faith transcends reason.... How convenient?? Yes, faith transcends reasons the way a criminal transcends the law!
If you're a believer, your faith allows you to adopt a set of beliefs that make absolutely no sense, knowing well that you wont be measured by whether they make sense, but by the level of piety you exhibit in believing them... In other words, your willingness to deny reality becomes a measure of your virtue! What a joke!!!!
What you call faith is merely fear/greed dressed up as virtue!! In short... Your faith/imaan or whatever ... Is a joke!!!! Shame on You!!!!

Faith is the grip that your maula have over you. It's the invisible rope around your neck that pulls you along the road he wants you to travel, for his benefit, not yours. It's a dead-end word, It's a word of bondage. It's a word that lets you believe what you've been told to believe without feeling that you've been told what to believe, but you have, and you can stop pretending anytime you like. It's not a virtue, that's the last thing it is. It's an abdication from reality, It's a dumb act of self-hypnosis, It's a cowardly cop out. It's gullibility with a halo... and hiding behind it is like pretending to be an invalid.Bigger wrote:It was never about greed. It is something that depends for its existence on a closed mind and that is clearly dragging humanity in the wrong direction and giving us false ideas about ourselves and about the nature of reality.

See here is the problem "Greed is an excessive desire to possess wealth or goods with the intention to keep it for yourself" from Wikipedia; In this case, read excessive (several times) and then goods( Barakaats) you(yourself) expect.

If this is ur defination i dont think you have faith on anyone, i hope you believe in ALLAH, i hope you pray and ask for his blessings and benediction, or that too seems JOKE to you?

Greed is where you have sole motive of gaining worldly benefits, im sorry but you always miss spiritual attachment between him and us.omabharti wrote:Bigger In the same post you say it is never about greed then you say you pay to get several times Barakaat.Bigger wrote:

You are right asking from Allah is something different, but you said everything belongs to our Maula and who is the Maula, Syedna or Allah. If you are asking from human being that is greed, asking from Allah is not greed because that is what our faith is ask Allah he is Rahmatul Aalamin and asking from him is never enough

Maybe if you were born in slightly different circumstances, your faith could have been in another greedy grabber. Your gullibility would be the same. Re: Important reasons for abdes to follow Syedna
There are no reasons to follow syedna...its just that abdes are used to it. Restrict jaman only for ramzan and muharram so mainly 40 days out of 365 days and keep majlis for 300 days out of 365 days. m damn sure the number will decline.
