100th Salgirah Mubarak
100th Salgirah Mubarak
On behalf all reformists Dawoodi Bohras we wish Sayedna Mohaammed Burhanuddin Saheb a very happy and joyous 100th birthday. We pray that the rest of his life be healthy and peaceful. On this momentous occasion we would like to remind Sayedna Saheb that he address the grievances raised by reformists. We sincerely request him to engage in a dialogue with us and find solutions to long-standing problems that beset the community. If he wishes everything can be redeemed and put back on track. He cannot have a better occasion than this to create a lasting legacy of harmony and justice for our community.
We wish him and the community well.

Happy Birthday to Syedna Burhanuddin Saheb.
Re: 100th Salgirah Mubarak
My birthday wishes to him too.
We pray for a healthy and happy life and hope that upholds the Islamic principles and spreads the word of Allah to the community.
To the Abdes; contrary to your beliefs, we the reformists actually do respect Maula as a religious leader and actually wish him well, There should always be respect for another despite the differences.

“And when they meet those who believe, they say: “We believe,” but when they are alone with their Shayâtin (devils – polytheists, hypocrites, etc.), they say: “Truly, we are with you; verily, we were but mocking.” Al-Baqarah 2:14

Re: 100th Salgirah Mubarak
Dear Syedna Saheb,
Heartiest Congratulation for completing 99 years of life on this earth which, according to one of the ahadiths, which my father used to recite & I also read in your father’s Risaala-e-Ramzania, is prison for Momin. I, on behalf of Reformist Dawoodi Bohras pray for your longer life and services to the Momineen.
We, the Reformist are true followers of the institution of Dawat-e-Haadiya and in that spirit implore you to live the life Panjatan Pak lived as you describe yourself as slave of these five Holy Bodies. These bodies right from Holy Prophet to Imam Hussain lived life of stark simplicity and it is well known that the Prophet used to sleep on the mat made up of leaves of Palm tree and used pillow stuffed with these leaves. And Ali (AS) used to wear Qamis with 72 patches. Can there be more simple life than this.
However we see a great contrast between their lives and your and your family member’s lives. You and your family live life of great luxury and call themselves as prince and princess. The Holy Prophet and his Ahl-e-Bayt never used a single dirham taken from the community on themselves and accounted for all money in the Bait-ul-Maal. In sharp contrast to this you and your family appropriate all the money taken from the community and is spent on your luxurious lifestyle. The Panjatan were embodiment of humility and service to people and you and your family are known for arrogance of power and making Momineen serve them.
We, the Reformist, as per Qura’nic teachings believe in dignity of human being walaqad karramna bani adama (Surah: 17, Verse 70) where as you insist that Momineen are your slaves. We also have read in one of the books of Dawa’a the 40 attributes of Momin and one of the attribute is that a Momin is like a pearl and like an emerald. Where as your princess and even your distant relatives treat them like dirt in sheer arrogance of power.
You are supposed to guide the believers and so you are described as Hadi (guide) and we the Reformists pray to Allah that he guide you in the true spirit of Islam so that you can guide the Momineen properly. We also pray to Allah on this occasion that He shows you the light of Imaan so that all these practices of exploitation, oppression may stop and a Momin could lead a life of dignity and serve the cause of humanity. This is what Islam teaches and Panjatan are role model for us.
Whishing you a long life full of fervour of Imaan and also wish that you be true servant of believers in particular and other human beings in general.

Re: 100th Salgirah Mubarak
I join the admin and others in wishing most heartily the syedna saheb on his 99th salgirah, "Mubarak"!
Let us hope that any of his family members reading this forum search their consciences and take measures to amend the evils that have crept into our systems and the practice of our deen.
We believe that eventually right and goodness will prevail and evil will be vanquished. There is no better day to pray for this than this day when the entire bohra community celebrates the salgirah of their leader.

Salgirah Mubarak to all Bohras of whatever leaning, on this day of festivity which tradionally starts with the Birth day of the Greatest Prophet SAW , for without whom we would not be Muslims or have Imams
May all Bohras enjoy these days and within the celebrations remember the less fortunate beings either through economic or natural causes.
May this day inspire the Sayedna to take us back on the rightful Islamic path that our Prophet intended
