Interview
Shk Shabbir Shk Abedali
Tell us about your first few years here in London…
I arrived in London in the January of 1973 after having been sent by my parents via Burhanpur where Maula (TUS) was, to take raza to travel to the UK after performing ziyarat of Kerbala Sharif and Najaf e Ashraf. Being a young man traveling to the West for the first time I was apprehensive as to what I would do and what the future would entail but the confidence and faith instilled by the upbringing of my parents and the immense contentment when Maula (TUS) placed his benevolent hand on my shoulder and his words ‘Khuda Himmat aape’ instilled in me a sense of youthful adventure. Little did I know then what the future was to bring and the good fortunes that would come my way in the coming years.
How long have you been in London? From the time you arrived here and until now what changes do you see in the lives of mumineen?
I was fortunate to have the contact details of Shazada Hamiduddin Saheb and Dr Idris Bhaisaheb Zainuddin on arrival in the UK and through them was introduced to the newly formed Jamaat in London. More correctly the ‘African’ Jamaat! Many had migrated to the UK following the ‘Exodus’ from Uganda in 1972 and the resultant fears in Kenya and Tanzania that the Asians living there experienced. I was the only one from Sri Lanka and quickly came to be recognized as the ‘Colombowala’, trying desperately to fit in and understand the unfamiliar language made up of words such as ‘saani, faggio etc. We were a motley crowd but many became fast friends as we struggled to fill in the vacuum of faith and practice which we had left behind in our home countries. Without money or infrastructure resources we somehow managed to gather and celebrate our major calendar events in the 2 room basement flat that had been bought by the Jamaat at 108 Alderney Street in Victoria – a project that another youthful enthusiast in the form of Shazada Quaidjoher Bhaisaheb Ezzuddin Saheb had initiated. He was to become the mentor of this fledgling Jamaat.
Tell us something about your line of work and personal achievements…
In the middle of 1974 we were enthused by the prospect that Maula (TUS) was going to visit the UK. This would be the first visit of a Dai to the Western World and all those who were in the forefront in Jamaat activities were running around like crazy looking forward to this possibility. The dream became a reality when Maula (TUS) landed in Heathrow and we became witness to history. We saw the miracle of our beloved Maula (TUS) as he blessed and transformed the motley Jamaat of immigrants.
How many times have you and your family received the sharaf of ziyafat? Tell us about the barakat of ziyafat?
By chance and good fortune, my father, Sheikh Abidali had come to London just before Maula’s (TUS) arrival looking for opportunities to advance his business in the UK. He told me that there was no better way of beginning this venture than hosting Maula’s ziyafat. For several days we pressed for a chance of ziyafat but were not being given a hearing in expectation that other, more senior members of the Jamaat would take the first step. It was our good fortune that their hesitancy and my father’s persistence paid off and our family got the privilege of doing the very first ziyafat of Daiz Zamaan in the UK and the Western World. This barakat was without doubt a stepping stone to the success and blessings we as a family have since enjoyed. During this 65th visit of Maula (TUS) to London our family was gifted the sharaf of our 154th ziyafat. How can we even begin to express shukr for these n‘emat?
Aqa Maula (TUS) has granted the sharaf of Milad Mubarak to London many a times. What was special about this year?
If my memory serves me right it was Maula’s 75th Milad Mubarak, coinciding with the 1400th year of Imam Husain’s (SA) birth that was first celebrated in the UK. In subsequent visits, London has been blessed by almost all the main miqaat in our Hijri calendar except for Ashara Mubaraka. These include the celebration of Maula’s (TUS) 88th, 90th and 92nd Milad Mubarak. We celebrated these occasions with royal pomp and pageantry. We thought we had seen everything, and then we celebrated his 95th Milad this year. Indeed, Maula’s nazaraat on the people of London is unsurpassed. We were also blessed last year with the occasion of Lailat ul Qadr and Eid ul Fitr. Busaheba Amatullah Aaisaheba is our wasila in all aspects of life. We now pray and wait for the day when we will see Maula (TUS) recite the shahadat of Imam Hussein (SA) in this land.
In Maula’s (TUS) wad’aa bayaan he said he was leaving London, where his home was, to journey towards his watan in Mumbai after having granted the barakaat of several miqaat to the people of London, as well as ziyafats, nikahs, behtaks and qadambosi. Mumineen could not hold back their tears and felt bereft as they saw Maula (TUS) leaving the Masjid and departing Mohammedi Park. In the VIP lounge at Heathrow airport, Janab Amilsaheb expressed his gratitude for the many blessings Maula (TUS) had bestowed upon mumineen and did araz that Maula (TUS) come back to London very soon. Maula (TUS) graciously responded: “We will come and stay for an extended period.â€

Re: INTERVIEW OF :-
It is because the person who shares his fortune with the likes of 'sheikh' shabbir is mulla burhanuddin. These bootlicking sheikhs get a big chunk of the blood the dai and his pack of hyena suck from the poor of the third world countries. In turn, the sheikh feels obliged to give such sycophantic interviews. In this cleverly planned PR exercise, Allah figures no where.

Say one ziyafat costs $10,000 (Help, please post reasonable accurate number)
154 Ziafats= $1,540,000
At 5% yeild it will earn $77,000/Yr
Can somebody tell me how many poor, miskin can be fed?
How many scholarship it can provide?
How many Auto-Ricksaw it can buy?
How many village school it can support?
(I know one which costs $10,000/Yr for 125 Students)
How many Sewing Machines it can buy?
How many Water Purification Plant can be built?
I know you can put one for $18,000 for a small village.
So what did Shaikh do.
He fed insanely rich Holy man and rich Londoners 154 times and thinks he earned Barakat?
Wait till he meets his maker.
Br. Shabir
Please let Shaikh read Surah 'Abasa (80) Ayah 33 to 42.
33 Finally when there come the deafening blast,
34 on that Day each man shall flee from his own brother,
35 his mother and his father,
36 his wife and his children.
37 For each one of them, on that Day, shall have enough concern of his own to make him indifferent to the others.
38 Some faces on that Day shall be shining,
39 smiling and joyful.
40 And some faces on that Day shall be dusty
41 and veiled with darkness.
42 These shall be the faces of the disbelieving wicked.
If this is true then do you thing Bua Saheba and Bawa Saheb will have time to hold Shaiks hand and lead him to Jannah?

we will come and hold your hand.seems you are going to jannat by direct flight the way you think others are wrong and only you are right.so we take solace that yes you will be there to take us to jannat.
Re: INTERVIEW OF :-
shabir,
MF didn't 'think' that he is right but he quoted some verses from a religion you are supposed to believe and to which you have no reasonable answer. The best way to counter him would be quoting your interpretetion/ translation of verses which support your point of view and through which you can prove that you too are right. Do you have any Islamic source to justify your stance?
Till date, I haven't seen a single mumeen on this board finding any verse from quran to back up their statements. The only way they counter Quranic ayahs is through snide remarks and baseless retorts.
Dear mumineen, do you realise that you are riding a horse which has no feet?

Re: INTERVIEW OF :-
I think he posted it to counter Asghar ali engineer's interview. Well it's a pity, he could come up with this rhetorical nonesensical verbose.
The problem with cult(s) is, it cannot make sense. It is based on flimsy superficial non existent logic.
Shabir bhai never answered any question, that were put to him. He did not answer, why did he call others coward, while he himself hid his name.
He did not answer, where would "shahzada ali asghar kalimuddin" pray, if he comes after adhan is done, and masjid is jam packed.
He did not answer, where should "shahzada ali asghar kalimuddin" pray, if he comes after adhan is done, and masjid is jam packed.
You know, it is a pity. It is shame. It is unforgivable.
I dont know, How dare people try to hoodwink Allah (though that is their wrong perception). Knowingly, saying something that is not correct.
Praying, with long beard, and white abas, they try to decieve almighty. Their conscience is so dead, their heart has become so numb, that it has no feeling left. Some times, I really feel sorry, even for myself, due to social and other factors, I am as or more guilty than they are.
I do not know, how long will it go on. I hope, someone at the top will soon have some fear of god, that they frighten us so much of that. It is a miserable situation. May allah grant taufiq and hidaya to them and us all.

BECAUSE EVERY DAY AQA MAULAPRAYS FOE ME.
Then why he doesnot pray for his own health and why does he have to run to Germany and ask every one to pray for his health
Does not that open your eyes that he is asking every mumineen to pray for his health, if he was so powerful that he is going to take you to Jannat then he doesnot need your prayers
BUT AGAIN I AM TALKING TO A PIG

His relationship with aqa mulla one of give and take.
Aqa mulla needs his prayers and likewise he needs aqa mulla prayers.
If he is happy and contended with this arrangement
then why are we wasting his and our time.
This is a gone case. Simply out of repair -- only good for thrash bin.

Re: INTERVIEW OF :-
Hello Pig
Here you go again. If anyone asks you a question, why it becomes against Aqa Moula. Didn't I said, I believe in reforms from INSIDE OUT
You still didnot reply to my question, if he is so powerful then why does he needs our prayers.
If Prophet Mohammaed SAW (Nabi) never claimed kind
of things we hear in WAIZ
BTW, I asked you would you replace the amount of Saabil I pay then I might consider stop paying SAABIL. I said our local Jamaat is in financial distress and every penny counts.
SO PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS. If you are ready to pay $ 1552.00 per year then I will stop paying and you would not have to ask this question repeatedly.

Re: INTERVIEW OF :-
Shabir,
Really, more show-off that you are connected, and are a Sheikh?
With all due respect, Allah Subhanahu is not responsible for the loss of lives during Karatina/India-Pakistan earthquakes, cancers, illnesses, sickness, etc. It makes me sick to hear that all this happens because we are sinners! It's plain dumb! God is so merciful that he has to get you killed by a terrorist-who incidentally also believes that he's going to heaven-just to place the both of you in heaven?? The Lord is merciful. The Lord has put the seeds of brotherhood and the seeds of devilry in all humans. It is up to you to grow out of your promitive animal instinct and become united for progress.
