Three Ismaili Shitte arrested in Saudi Arabia
Wall Street Journal: Rights group finds cause for concern in Saudi Arabia<br>Story Filed: Monday, February 25, 2002 2:23 PM EST <p>Feb 25, 2002, (Wall Street Journal /FT Information via COMTEX) -- <br>Human-rights group Amnesty International is "seriously concerned" about the safety of three Ismaili Shiite Muslims who were arrested for speaking to the foreign press earlier this year. Sheikh Turki al-Sa'ab was arrested after accusing the Sunni Muslim Saudi government of discriminating against Shiite Muslims in The Wall Street Journal. <br>Hamad Ali Daseeny al-Hutailah and Hamad Qulayyan al-Zbaidy were also arrested. Amnesty describes the men as prisoners of conscience and says that they should be immediately released.
