A Plea to all

Dear Brothers,<p>It is with increasing dismay that I have been reading the posts on these boards.<p>What exactly are we trying to prove here? Have we taken up the mantle of the guardian of the faith? Are we raising ourselves to the level of prophets or similar. Who has given us the right to judge any creed? Why are we fighting each other in the name of Islam whilst ignoring the injunctions of the Quran which tells us that Allah(SWT) is the Supreme Judge?<p>Nizari, hafeez, Gora and anyone else defending the honour of the Imam should realise that there is a lot of rubbish being written all over the net, on how many sites will you post your rebuttals; some sites do not even give you a right of reply? And before Muslim First or anajmi come up with a quip that rubbish needs to be rubbished, I would remind them that perhaps Islam generally is being ridiculed more than Shiasm or Ismailism in particular.<p>I have one simple question for you all. If it is OK to discriminate and abuse on grounds of tariqah, why do you object to discrimination on grounds of screen colour or eye pigmentation? Perhaps we should all petition for racial abuse to be decriminalised and start contributing to KKK-type of organisations.<p>Whilst it is upsetting to read insults against our Imam, the ordinary Nizari Ismaili knows that incessant bickering on the web is not making the slightest difference where it matters - the community and its instituitions continue to receive praise and co-operation from the powers that matter.<p>And ExMuslim, GurSevak, baburao etc, we do not wish to defend our tariqah by attacking any other Muslim sect. That is not the way of the true Nizari Ismaili. You do not cut your nose to spite your face. I am sure all true Muslims share that view.<p>Thank you and Allah Bless us all.<p>ProudIsmaili
