there can be a sharp decline in bohra numbers

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Bismillah al rahman al rahim....

in my recent survey on internet from different forums and website i have found there can be a sharp decline in the numbers of bohras in comming years, majority is againt the cruil system adopted by syedna and most are rippen up with all this use less bias of unislamic practises, what i have found in my studies is most people are inclined to adopt following sects.

Buddhism(srilankan bohras)
Bahai(mumbai and suburbs)
Sunis(yemenis)
shia ithna asharis(uk,pakistan,india)

Bro Incredible,

I do not know on what basis you have done the survey and came to the conclusion about the specific sects people are looking upto. however, m sure that there is a subsequent decline in the number and more to come in future for various reasons.I am curious to know how kothar is goin to handle the situation when 53rd dai steps in.

you living in illusions, wake up. You know what, you should try all of them, like 2-3 years each and bring reform in all of them.
And for your illusion i have this..

Bro Incredible,

I agree that the bohra population is on a decline and many are adopting the bahai, sunni and ithna ashari faith but no one has converted to buddhism. The buddhism religion under dalai lama is attracting hollywood personalities like Steven Seagal, Keanu Reeves and others but not bohras and for that matter not even other muslims.
