Absolute waste

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

The car rally organised for the 100 year celebration is an absolute waste of time and resources..The people particiapting have paid 5 lakh rupees for the same and they all are bohras.

I dont understand why people want to waste money on this.Instead they sould have sent 10 needy people to Karbala in that money and enared much more blessings.

a child will always follow what his or her parents do..

Here the bohras consider him as his father and he has never teached to help anyone neither has he..I know once I say this you will start giving me a count of things like karzan hasana, saifee hospital ,masjids etc etc but deep down the heart you know that has no where helped the people...Just added more to the sufferings and the misery.

Anyways here I was saying that its time that bohras should think on their own and not on the mindsets of the corrupt preachers.

5 Lakh rupees can make someone's life rather than pumping that in petrol to move around for ziyarats which can even be done at the cost of just 5000 rs if travelled in train or bus.

you are correct 5 lakh can change some bodys life....but this event is neither compulsory for every one nor any one forced any body to take part in it.people with money can take part and what ever amount will be collected will be utilize for education purpose.200 cars are taking part in this contest it means 2 crore will be generated.prize money is 1 crore, remaining amount will be utilized for education.

and as i said now people shud leave hope for getting help from others instead try and help others.

jb the bohras have done more than enough for their community. the ordinary man cannot afford to feed his family still he has paid huge sums to kothar. the question is what has the kothar done for the community. dont tell me that the jaman this year was better than last year so clearly the standard of living has increased.

and as i said now people shud leave hope for getting help from others instead try and help others.

read what you wrote and see if it makes any sense. how is someone who needs help, leave hope of getting help from shafiq bawa, and help others? hasnt syedna promised help not just in this world but also in the next? why is he not helping then? why do you want us to stop hoping for help when i am paying a lot of money just so that poor bohris can be helped?

2 crores is a big amount which has gone down the drain that is saifee mahal.

Dear JB,

The calculation you have made is wrong. You have forgotten about the jiyafat and you know very well how much it cost!!

And what about organizing cost?

Please re calculate

I have done my calculations....as far as i know the price money i:e 1 crore will be given by winner for zyafat for noble cause(all participants have agreed on that) and remaining amount will be used for education loans.

This is NOT waste for the regime, they will get and get and get ........... ziyafats on top ......... and what does the winner get?? to do the Qadambossi and ziyafat/SALAM to Maula .......... so the winner is a Big Looser in the end...!!!

Yes, we should stand up and take the matters into our hands ......... kick out the zaadas, the ruling dictators. Get your freedom and your community back from hijackers ........ they have looted enough .........

so now this infantile idiot can quote from jfk??? do you even know what individual bohras were doing until only some 50-60 years ago? it was the practice of each and every raees bohra to run a trust which helped poor bohra students with fees and books, poor bohra families, esp widows and orphans with their hosuehold expenses, help with medicines and health issues, help with free or low cost accomodation in their personal properties.. etc. but along came the syedna and on threat of baraat had them closed asking the rich bohras to send the funds to kothar instead! every city and town/village had atleast a dozen trusts running and helping poor and deserving bohras. now you see these poor bohras begging outside rozatut tahera!

syedna have very well served 100 years to dawaat...

yes, by filling his and his families pockets with such vast wealth that collectively they own property worth almost a billion dollars around the world, investments in stocks, bonds, secret swiss accounts and other liquid assets. self service is the best service!!!

now think how u can contribute to community...now its time for action

yes, its time for affirmative action. throw out these rascal parasitic family of syedna who are sucking the life blood of the community.

Well my question still remains.

Do you really think it was important to waste so much of resource just to show the world that we are celebrating the milad of DAI and not PROPHET.

Don't you think that the same money could have brought atelast 10 families out of poverty and that would have done much more sawaab?

If you do not have an answer please do not reply

Yes it is important. By your logic, why should we celebrate anything. birthdays, marriages, births of children. Why not just always help the poor. Celebrations have a place in life too.

By your logic, why should we celebrate anything. birthdays, marriages, births of children. Why not just always help the poor.
And that is what exactly Sir Syed Ahmed Khan did and with that vision he build Aligarh Muslim University of which Syedna is Chancellor. Sir Syed always asked people to give money which they were going to use for celebration towards building of AMU,
Syedna being chancellor could have done the same instead of showering Modi and Thackrey and 100 car rally and all other showbazi towards his birthday bash
