Our twenty eightth Dai Syedna Shaikh Adam Safiuddin had a grandson (Potra) by the name of Ali who was also his librarian and had the access to dawat seals and other official stationary. So he forged himself an official-looking document which said that he would be the twenty ninth Dai and claimed that he was the chosen one by nas by the 28th Dai. According to our history, the 28th dai infact had chosen Syedna Abdultayyib Zakiuddin as his mansoos to be the 29th Dai.
So, we and the Alavi bohras share the first 28 dai(s) between us and them, then we part ways.
Unfortunately, Ali's father and uncle(kaka) joined his fold. At one time they were ready to join back in our fold but decided against it as they refused to foresake the dai(s) they believed in from 29th to present day. Our relations with them are cordial/harmonious and their Dai stays in our rubaat in Mecca when he comes for Haj etc.

All Dais have a forged beginning somewhere in their past. We just need to look closely.

What I do know is that the Alavi Bohra clergy is like a candle to the sun compared to the corruption of the Dawoodi Bohra clergy.

There is no safai chitthi, no green and red cards, no titles that can be purchased (probably because they aren't worth anything - as it should be), no maatam on every occasion, no compulsory, sayo and topi. A sunni muslim is welcome to pray in their masjid. There is no forcible closing of businesses during moharram.

They have pretty much been saved by all the ills that are leading the kothar and the dawoodi bohra dai, straight to hell.

If I were an outsider, I would assume that it was the dawoodi bohra origin that was forged. But being an insider, I know that they are all fake.

progs u raise the issue of nass of syedna najumuddin. I want to know progs view on Sayedna Zakkiuddin.

I just want to know whether the existence of any Syedna is justified by Quran.

As S. Taher Saifuddin Said, "Imam doen't exist." How do you expect some one can appoint other one when that some one doesn't exist.!

If, there is a big if, if any Imam had ever existed after Moiz or Tayyab, he and his family has been killed and done with. Imam did not go to Purda himself, he was made to go, not by enemies, but friends like Hurat-ul-Malika and Zoaib and 'Imamat' was hijacked. Since for Imam, they needed to show the family tree, which was not possible at all, they started this drama of Dawat and Dai (or started using the concept of Dai of Imam in worng direction). Now they are the rulers and will remain so. Taher Saifuddin would not have said - Imam doesnot exist - coz he cannot say that or afford to say that - the whole Dawat is based on the concept that Imam is Hazar and he whisppers to Dai only (poor Imam!!).

This Imam and Dai is all crap, just a cult to rule, just to earn, loot and perpetuate power.

Who knows, there will be another drama, another chapter in Fatimid History after Burhan dies.
