I guess there is nothing for the Imam to teach since everything that had to be taught has been taught already by the prophet.

Here are some of his achievements in the last 1000 years.
1 - Stayed hidden successfully from 1000 to 1100 AD.
2 - No one was able to find him from 1100 to 1200 AD.
3 - Remained unseen from 1200 to 1300 AD.
4 - No one was able to catch up with him during 1300 to 1400 AD.
5 - Successfully conceals his location from 1400 to 1500 AD.
6 - Conceals his identity successfully from 1500 to 1600 AD.
7 - No one was able to find him from 1600 to 1700 AD.
8 - Successfully conceals his location from 1700 to 1800 AD.
9 - Remained unseen from 1800 to 1900 AD.
10 - Cannot be located since 1900 AD.

Have we ever wonderred, REALLY, WHY Imam is hiding? I mean what are the reasons behind this Imam of Bohras to stay in Purdah. There are other Imams around notably Aga Khan and everybody is doing OK. Burhan - the Deputy Imam is doing well, so Imam is still in Purdah?
To me, the Imam of Bohras DO NOT exist at all. As I had written in Shirazi topic, the Imamat had been 'hijacked' by Hurutul-Malika and Zoaib. Once Imam decided to go in hiding (right or wrong, for whatever reason) - either Malika or Zoaib or any other Dai realized it would be appropriate for their reign and power that Imam remains in Purdah for ever. In the name of Imam, they have everything, so who needs Imam. If any decesandant of THAT Imam was there, may be they were 'removed' from the picture. So Imam of Bohraism is never gonna come EXCEPT that Dai decides that now he wants to be IMAM like Aga Khan and needs more power and money (and all this hype of Imam Hussain, Matam etc is in that direction only).
Note: Ms. Seren has said that it is NOT necessary that Imam should be of blood and by descent. It could be by NAAS too - this clearly opens the door for an Imam to be declared. Who will stop or argue if tomorrow, Burhan comes crying, dying with lot of melodrama claiming Imam visited him and has NAASED Imamat to him or what if he dies and next dai claims to be Imam claiming both have been merged as the hidden Imam doing NASS to 53rd Dai.
