Wajebaat Takhmeen Process

As mentioned in earlier email communications Anjuman-e-Shujaee, Houston will conduct, and complete wajebaat takhmeen and collection in Rajabul Asab, and Shabaan-ul-Karim. The jamaat office will close one week before pehli raat of Ramadan.

Wajebaat Takhmeen Process
The following collections will be made: Wajebaat, Sila Fitra, Jamaat dues, FMB contributions, Mawaid dues, Masjid Contributions. Sabeel for 2014 will be collected in December 2013. Mumineen are required to bring their checkbook or any other form of payment. If you do not bring your checkbook, your appointment will be rescheduled for another time.

Mumineen should come on their scheduled appointment time. Click here to view the appointment times. Numbered tokens will be issued at the registration desk on a first come first serve basis, contact detail forms will be given out for any corrections that may be necessary. A Vajebaat Card with amount will be issued for Araz during Ramzaan. Mumineen will not be allowed to take the original forms back with them. Refreshments will be served during your visit. Amilsaab will no longer give appointments at Darul Emarat. Missing an appointment will have consequences: which include $21 Sabeel increase, delayed entry during Sherullah and ineligibility for Ladies passes on second floor.

Process for Rescheduling Appointment under exceptional circumstances
Email your request at reschedule@houstonjamaat.com . All email rescheduling requests should be sent before Sunday prior to the appointment week. Required information in your email for rescheduling. Subject should mention "Request to Reschedule Appointment" Email context - Full Name with your current scheduled appointment date & time. The current open date for rescheduling appointment is June 22. If earlier dates are available then we will let you know via email.

so whats new in this? the same email is being circulated by every jamaat. its their way or the highway, nothing but dadagiri.

they take your money and yet spit on you, abuse you, kick you in the end and make you feel like a cockroach! wah bhai wah, isko kehte hai dhandha!!

in our business we run after customers, we put up with their unjust tantrums, nakhras, demands and foibles. in the kothar's business, they take your money after idiot customers dress up in uniform, grow junglee dadhis, do sajdas to them, give them fakhir najwas and still get treated like shit.

That said, i agree with you, this is complete dadagiri.

i would love to see them try something like this in our jamaat, they will be hearing from atleast 7 of us for sure

As I said elsewhere , report to Internal revenue agents , use smart phone to take video, photo evidence and expose them in the media. Little brothers are watching.

I note they stated they will not give forms , they will give you demand notices and you have to accept them there and there.
