How many countries are strictly enforcing the shariah law apart from Saudi Arabia? Maybe Afganistan??? How many known incidents of stoning to death, cutting of limbs etc. have you come accross? I agree that polygamy is still widely used but again how does allowing a man to have multiple wives bother you? My point is you need to come up with statistics so that you can confidently claim that the religion of Islam promotes barbarism. I picked up Malaysia because I have been to Malaysia and believe me it is one of the most secular and tolerant Islamic countries. It is better than countries like India where a muslim feels out of place even though it boasts of secularism. I have seen chinese and Muslims living in perfect harmony without stepping on each other's toes. Again I want to know the list of problametic countries which strictly follow and enforce the Shariah law. I am not interested in the theoretical constitutional crap but the practical implementation.

Their is a difference between random acts committed by individuals in violation of the law, and acts commited by say 1% of the population and supported by the judicial system !

BTW: What's your real point? Didn't you mention in the begining that people commit these atrocities in the name of Islam because the Islamic law makes it legal? My understanding of your concern was that people are doing this in the name of religion. And that is when I asked you roughly what % of muslims are following these practices in the name of religion? Let me make if very simple for you. Let's take an example of a country that follows Shariah law but does not implement these practices because they are inhuman. An ideal example would be Malaysia. Even if they follow the Shariah law they do not stone people to death, cut their limbs if caught stealing etc. I am still not getting your REAL concern. From the way you criticize Muslim countries following Shariah law, I should have seen people getting stoned every once in while, a person without limbs crawling on the street etc. when I was in Malaysia. But fortunately I saw nothing like that during my entire stay. And this shows that such practices are not followed in every Muslim country.

BTW: The authenticity of this picture can be easily doubted since you have just posted a picture without any other information. If this is based on facts than post the actual source from where you found this picture. As Anajmi has rightly mentioned in his post that unless you come with some concrete evidence it will be dismissed as a stinky fart.
